Slide problems

I have a 2003 Monaco Monarch on a Workhorse Chassis. About 3 years ago I removed the carpeting and cleaned surface then installed Linoleum. Looked good and NO problems. The last time out I noticed impressions at both ends of the slide on the floor. .It is getting worse with each slide extension. The wife is upset and I want to know how to remedy. I have H Gear slide mechisims and jacks on the rig. Has anyone out there tried to adjust a slide(is there ADJUSTMENTS) If you have info please advise me. Thanks Jim Senn Athol Idaho

You will have to use slide out sliders since the design was for the bottom of slide out to slide on the carpet.

Slide

When Monaco built the MH and installed m the slide must have had to do some bsasic rigging of the slide mechisim so the room will move in and out without dragging on floor or scrapping on the top of the opening. Like I said everything worked fine for 3 years. So I think something has worn out or it needs to be rerigged/centered in the opening. I really don,t think putting a bandaid on the floor is the answer here, what do you think. Thanks

If this problem is new after 3 years of success, you may have a damaged skid under the slide or a screw head that was worked out. A buddy had a screw break loose on his '04 Endeavor after several years and it messed up the floor. However, in fixing the loose screw he discovered that the slide floor had been getting wet for years and was rotting away (why the screw popped up). That "loose screw" ended up being a $7000 repair. Then we found the new floor was damp too, so we hunted and finally isolated it to a small leak in a window frame.
