I am toying with the idea of installing one long (12 feet) window awning versus two short awnings on my main slide. Any thoughts about the feasability of this?

We have this on our unit. There has not been any problem. Had two on previous unit and prefer the single long awning.

Had both and found that the one long awning much better. I found that the long awning keeps the rain out of the windows better even if the rain is blowing hard. You can keep the one window that opens under the middle of the awning open without the rain coming in.

We have both long and short window awnings on our Allegro Bus. They all work just fine and the counter-balancing action of the spring offsets the awning weight so they all pull out and retract with equal tension. I don't see any drawbacks as long as you have a good solid place to mount them to.
