Hello everyone,

I have a 2002 Itasca Sundancer. My slide out will extend but when I retract it, there is a high pitched whining sound and it will not retract. I am not sure if this is an hydraulic issue or a battery issue. Someone please help!

What brand of hydraulics do you have and could you have electric slide out motor driven mechanism? You might want to call Winnebago to have them help you determine the problem.

The guy at Winnebago said possibly the solenoid. Have to check it out. He said it is easy to replace.

Sounds like you have the HWH hydraulic system on board. Was Winnebago sending you the new solenoid? If so, and you need any help you can PM me or ask anyone that might know or have the service manuals on the system.
