Hope that you do empty your black water tank before the grey ones to start with !
When emptying, make sure you have some ventilation in the coach; since the black water tank has a vent over it, that tank empties fast; if you opened a window or a ceiling ventilation, the fresh air coming in will help emptying and will rinse the crap left by emptying your black water tank first.

When I got my RV we went to Arizona for the winter. I was hooked up with the 3" slinky hose and had left the grey water valve open. We had gone a week an while taking a shower I noticed that the water wasn't draining. After checking I found that the opening was blocked. I called a mobile mechanic after talking to Monaco and when he came out he found that when the tank was installed they let the cutouts just drop in the tank and they ended up over the hole blocking the hole. You might try running a flexible coat hanger to see if there is a blockage over the opening

I always empty black water first and rinse it. Then I empty the gray.

A few months ago I read of another Coach owner that had the same exact problems. He was trying to find the source of a slow tank and ran a flexible cable w/camera into the tank and found the cutout out covering the outlet. So we assume that if its in the tank it's going to eventually gravitate towards the outlet. I think he had to cut a hole high up on the tank to get the camera in and then patched over it when he was through. Hope it's an easier fix than that! Good luck.

I'll have to get someone to check it out with a camera. Thanks.

To fix mine there is a worm drive clamp around the make up pipe that comes out of the tank. It is sealed with silicone but with a little twisting it can be removed from the tank and the blockage can be removed here. You will need to dismantle the valve. There are 4 bolts that secure the valve which after the bolts are removed the valve removed then you can twist the piping to get it off the tank. Just reverse the procedure to put it back together.
