I've read all the post and I'm still not sure what you are getting and what you aren't getting.

Do you have AC at the outlets and at the converter when on shore power?

Does your genset keep running after you let go of the start switch? If so, than it is most likely making AC. Typically if the genset won't generate voltage it will shut down when you let go of the start switch.

Have you looked for and found your transfer switch?

So I just had an electrician here checking out everything. He checked the transfer switch etc and found that it worked fine. He even connected disconnected the Genset power to the transfer switch and tried the shore power in its place. The transfer switch worked fine.

He traced it back to the very first junction box off the Genset and found that it was only getting 1.5 volts instead of 120 volts that it should.

He checked all the wiring and connections that he could and found no problems after the generator itself.

Oh well, at least we know the transfer switch is fine. Time to find a small engines:generator guy or a may have to break open my wallet and go to Cummins themselves $$$😟

So; You have no output from the genset?

and the genset keeps running after you let go of the start switch?

Can you post a pic of the model and spec?

I can probably point you towards the service manual with any luck. It might help you or a small engine guy.
