I think we all know this is not limited just to the RV mode of transportation.

Unfortunately, it was the RV that was captured on video. I read a story a while back about a bunch of RV'ers drunk and causing problems in an RV Park. It's unfortunate that these people give us all a bad name. Unfortunately as well, non-RV owners do not read these forums and will make up their minds about all of us from these few "bad apples" acting like fools on video!

I don't think Rv'ers have a bad name. Anyone who doesn't see this for what it is has their eyes closed.

Personally, I feel the guy making the video only added to the problem. If he could have kept his mouth shut, the drunk rv'er would most likely gone back to his coach and slept it off.

This doesn't excuse the guy being drunk or driving while intoxicated!

I don't agree with the confrontation part of it but clearly the guy was hassling not only the cameraman but other people in the parking lot. The video was a good idea as it might have served as evidence (excepting when he was driving and filming). He was over involved but the real problem was with the intoxicated person. That is where the lions share of the blame lies. There is no excuse for him and I hope he was appropriately punished for his lack of self-control.

I think this is a rare exception for someone owning an expensive coach like this.
I also think the guy doing the filming is trying hard to get a job with CNN !!

Lets hope this guy learned his lesson. The price of his coach has nothing to do with it. The guy taking the video should of not let him get behind the wheel. Should of talked him out of it at all cost, are called the cops sooner. Offer to take him to a bar and buy him a drink. Act like you are his best drinking buddy. But we all know this guy is out and driving around in his RV or SUV or something. May of cost him a lot of money, but he probably has it. Never let a intoxicated person drive anything or innocent people can die. The guy taking the video had options and did not use them. The drunk in the RV had options but had lost all reason to use them. Bad deal on everybody's part. Just glad it didn't turn out much worse. If he would of got that rig out on the highway it could have been a disaster.
