Something just ain't right with my generator!

I have an Onan 7000 genset with about 150 hours and it's been working fine. But now something seems amiss! Everything works great when I'm plugged into 30 amp shore power.

But the genset is not powering up everything. Refer will run, microwave will power up but not produce cooking power. And the air conditioner, either front or back, will not turn on. And remember everything works great on shore power.

Could really use some advise as I need to figure this out as we plan to do a little dry camping shortly. Thanks.....

Check the breakers on the gen set itself. Sounds like one is off and needs to be reset.

Thanks for the info and link to manuals. Not sure where the gen. breaker(s) are located on my 7000 Marquis but will definitely check it out. Thanks.

I would also check the voltage and frequency output of the generator.

The gens breakers should be inside the gens front cover. Mine are on top left side.

I would take a look at your ATS. You may have burnt points reducing the power coming from the generator. And your shore power side may be in good shape giving you full power. All you have to do is take off the cover and use a flashlight to get a good look inside. Good luck.
