This came up in an unrelated thread by member deadeye916 and think it's a great idea.

I've seen on some MHs the parking brake on the center console where it could be easily bumped or on the left console where a pet could step on it.

i use a piece of hard reinforced rubber hose about 3/4 inch long. then cut with a slit to fit around the knob. works great.
