Spark arrestor maintenance

Anybody ever cleaned the spark arrestor on an Onan QD12500 diesel generator? Manual says it should be done every 150 hours and I can't even find the muffler on this thing lol.
Of course the gen is hard mounted into the coach so I cant take the enclosure off unless I remove the gen from the rig-handy,huh.
Your help is appreciated.

You should not have to open unit, craw underneath and it way up inside try google.

Did it yesterday on my onan 7500. Crawl under and follow the exhaust then look up at the muffler. Mine has an 11/16 bolt. You'll need a couple of ratchet extensions to reach up there.

Check out this video for servicing the generator. It should be fairly applicable to yours. A couple nice tips in it, especially about the spark arrestor.

Thanks for the suggestions. The 12500 is a different beast than the 7500 as the muffler is inside the enclosure. Crawled under late today and noticed a bolton side panel, will take it off tomorrow and check it out and report back.
