Speedco is Great!

I've had my rig serviced at the FCSC in Gaffney, SC for the past two years and have been really pleased with their service and the price. We won't likely be heading in that direction this year until well after my current service interval, so I stopped at a Speedco in Haw River, NC on the way home from Durham. This was my first time at Speedco. They really do as promised in their ads.....three techs jumped on the job and had the oil changed, all filters changed, changed my rear differential fluid, lubed the chassis, checked tires and all other fluids, and had me out the door in less than one hour. They also can do an engine oil analysis on site so I had that done. They were very courteous and the prices were reasonable.

Gary, That a excellent review that you gave Speedco and I'm sure quite a few of the owners here that were considering service from that firm will feel a lot more confident as they approach the their time to perform the maintenance on thier rigs.

I had SpeedCo in Las Vegas service my rig... great job and good price. Very happy. Went back 6 months later and purchased a set of six tires. Excellent service, great price, and very professional.

smlranger, thanks for the info. I've always wondered about Speedco. I figured since they catered to truckers, their service should be fast, but I didn't know about their prices of how competent they were. Being a full-timer, I don't like to have to wait around for routine service all day.

Another vote for Speedco. Had our coach serviced at the Council Bluffs Iowa shop. Took me right in, changed oil, oil filter, and both fuel filters and lube under one hour. They have you come out to the bay to hear them torque the oil pan drain and rear end oil plug. They had me start the engine to check leaks so they never entered the coach. Very clean, professional, $217.00 and I was on my way.

I used the one in Las Vegas the beginning of this year... great service. Even gave me options of upgraded Fleetwood filters, checked of coolant for the PH, changed oil for the generator...

Great service and price.

I plan on using the LV Speedco later in the spring. Do you have to make an appointment? What did it cost you for the service and the generator service?

Thumbs up

I would echo the for Speedco, we used the one in Ruther's Glen VA returning from FL earlier this year. No need to make an appointment--in fact I don't think they take them.
