Splendide Washer/Dryer

We are at an RV Park (Oasis) in Las Vegas. This is our first trip since installing the Washer/Dryer. We decided to do a small load and see how it works. After watching the machine like a couple of hicks who had never seen a washing machine, we settled into watching some NetFlix. All of a sudden it felt like a small earthquake was shaking the Motorhome. We had a good laugh when we realized it was the spin cycle of the washer

Yup, the coach rocks and rolls. We have a sign in the window saying "Just Doing Laundry".

True dat! Even on the low spin, our awning shakes. I make sure we're BOTH outside when doing the laundry....just so there's no question it ain't us.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

In the circle of geezers we run with ... getting caught rockin' the coach ups your stature within the group.

I throw a load in the old Splendide just before nap time every day!

If you can't have fun ...it's not worth getting out of bed in the morning.

It can be a bit awkward when you're RV-ing at a CG where the people around you you'll never see again. But try having it happen when you're RV-ing with your regional group of friends. They never let you hear the end of it. The 1st time we used our W/D, we were in a CG with 8 others of our group. This was before I knew to be outside during the spin cycle. I've got these twirly spinners that I hang on the ends of our awning. Not only was the awning bouncing around, but the spinners hanging off the ends were really swinging.

I got applause when I stepped out the door. It's still a running joke asking when we're going to do "laundry" next.
