We have dark little spots and also have streaks on the wall paper in our motorhome. These have just recently shown up. We did have a leak last year, but as soon as we noticed it, we had the roof completely redone. Some of the streaks are under windows, some are not. As far as we can tell, the windows are not leaking. The little dark spots are in the living room, kitchen, and bedroom. Any ideas what might be going on?

This is just a guess on my part. but do you think it could be mold? If so a dilute bleachwater solution wiped on should take care of it.

Sounds like mould to me too. I agree with Rob's suggestion with the bleach solution. Maybe your unit is too airtight and dampness from condensation is causing these spots. My in-laws (who are going to be fulltiming soon) swear by leaving the roof vents open all the time and using the Maxxair vent covers. We are going to put one on our unit before our next trip.

Yes, it does look like mold. Today we had a friend that used to work for an RV dealer look at it. He thought it was from condensation too. He suggested Simple Green, since it would be safe for the carpet, should any of it end up there! Have any of you tried it for mold?

I haven't tried Simple Green, but it is worth a shot! Let us know how it works. Good luck!

I have used Simple Green. Used it to wash outside of TT years ago. Used it to "clean" inside, but never had any mold. I am sure it will work.

The Simple Green worked great. The streaks and spots came off with easy rubbing. We did all of the wallpaper, just to make sure it was all clean, and if there was any change at all to the color it would be uniform. As far as we can tell, however, it did not change the color of the wallpaper at all. Just thought you might like to know the results. Thanks for your help.
