I have 2005 37 Fleetwood with Vortex 8.1 engine, I need to replace starting battery. I looked at old one and there is no CCA information on it. Nothing in my Workhorse book about it either. Can anyone help. Auto part store suggested 875 cca is this correct?

Thanks

There should be a group size sticker or some other way of identifying the group size you need. All batteries have this number. You can then get the proper CCA battery you need.

Your auto parts store is steering you right. You could, I do, go to 1000 cca but it is not necessary. CCA is just Cold Cranking Amps and not terribly important as the correct series is.

Get the highest cranking amps in the series of the battery. Heat and cold and can make starting a engine diffucult. More cranking amps can't hurt.
