Step cover over entry steps for a 2002 Itasca Horizone MH

Have replaced the air/12vdc air valve that controls the step cover to retract or extend the cover over the entry steps. Cover will no move ether way. If I reverse the wires on the switch, which is a 3 terminal rocker switch, I can move the cover one way. If I reverse the wires again, the step will go in the opposite way. Anyone have any ideas, HELP.

Sounds like you have the switch wired up wrong.

Thanks for the reply.After installing the selinoids and the air valve, the cover still didnt work as it did when the coach was new. We rotaed the selonids from top to bottom and vise versa just to get the cover to move. The switch wireing was moved around instead of keep doing the selonoids, which did the same thing as wire switching. No matter how we rotaed the wires, or selonoids, cover still doesn't function normally. Net step is to find a dealer???, who knows about this air actuated step cover. Rich R
