storage compartment door

I would like to remove the right rear basement storage compartment door on a 1999 Georgie Boy Cruisemaster. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Make a short right turn onto a 6" concrete post. That's what I did. Took it right off.

Welcome vcarter1206 to irv2.
Your year coach I would say on the ends of your rail that doors hang on there are end caps that are removed and you slide the door off the rail.
The problem with that if its on a end you may have to take all the other doors off to get to one you want to work on.
Some doors on coach's you lift up to 65* angle and they snap off rail as with a Newmar.
Than other doors will have a clip on inside top of door thats removed and door will lift out of rail.
Enjoy the forums.

Thanks Perry for the suggestion, but I already did that with my fifth wheel. Don't take this the wrong way but I might be apt to try 007's suggestion. Thanks all for your input!

1998 Winnebago Brave, old and well cared for, new to me. The linkage on the compartment doors is weak and tired. The aft end on three doors will barely engage when I close and lock the compartment. It is caused by rust in the channel, the mechanism that is to engage the lock on the aft end simply does not come out of the door. Is there an after market fix, i.e., another way to secure the door. I am trying to avoid the padlock and hasp routine and looking like Jed Clampert. Thanks for any help you might give. Dave
