At a recent rally I talked to a gentleman who had a Sunblocker shade on his awning. I have the same issue as he had, the patio awning goes straight out in order to clear the slideout, resulting in very little shade in the patio area. He was very happy to demonstrate how the Sunblocker created a very comfortable shaded area, and he said the shade just rolled up with the awning. So after I received the shade today, first thing in the instructions was a caution to NOT roll up the shade with the awning. So my question is, has anyone installed a Sunblocker shade, and been able to roll it up with awning without any damage to the awning or its motor?

I would like to know as well. I havent bought one yet, but I was considering it. I did talk to one guy at a campground last weekend. He said that he rolled his up with his awning with no issues. However, he was half tanked on gin, so I thought I would get another opinion.......
