I think davendeb gave you the best advice. Campers are always ready willing and able to offer to help. Just tell your neighbors that you are newbees and not only will they tell you what to do, they will probably help you do it.

We made it!!!!

Good Morning, well we made it to Maple Park, and this is So cool!!! As Hubby was backing in......not doing bad fir first time!!!
There was a couple waiting to go by in a golf cart!!! Probably quite entertaining in some situations.....but he parked and apologized telling them it was our first time ever camping and Jayson hopped out of his cart and helped John hook up!! There were a couple of issues briefly.....hot water valve was on bypass....but a short time later we were relaxing. Mel, Jasons wife brought me back to main entrance to get my van as there were delivery trucks at front and no room to drive past at that time. We chatted for at least 1.5-2 hrs.... They left for dinner and to let us unpack. They came back a few hours later and enjoyed a campfire with us!!! RV'ers are truly the nicest people!!! Mel even brought me on a tour of the park on the golf cart!!!! then Jason brought John. For our first trip So far a huge success. It was also a nice way to keep occupied on the 1yr Anniversary of my Mom's passing. Freaky I ran into her neighbor when Mel brought me for the van.... That was her sign!! RIP Mom, I love you and Miss you!!! Thanks for taking the time to read this!!!! Lori & Family
