If your sound system only has one input, connect it to the variable output of the TV. Make sure you set up the TV for variable audio out in the menu, then simply connect the various AV sources to your TV's AV inputs using the correct cables. If you have the combo DVD/VCR, you can use component for the DVD and composite or S for the VCR output. The TV(s) in the rest of the coach shoud still operate as they did previously via the coax as long as you dont disconnect the RF outputs of your AV sources from the RF switcher box. BTW, what a piece of crap that thing is! The fact that they are installing 720P TV's in the coach and running coax to them is a sin. We completely rewired our coach with CAT5 and used a series of baluns to distribute video from BluRay and AppleTv boxes at 1080P. Of course the ATV does not put out 1080P but it looks real nice anyway. And now we can rent movies through iTunes using the wifi in the park, all hail Steve Jobs... Good luck!

We have an '05 Voyage and have no problem getting audio from the Sat receiver (Cable or Antenna)through the surround sound system by setting the SAT,or Cable,or Antenna button for the VCR on the video distribution box above the DVD/VCR. Our components are RCA not Sony. You mentioned DVD player - is it also a VCR recorder? If not then this probably won't do it.

on the sony WEGA TV on the remote ...
1. push Menu
2. arrow over to sounds (shows as a clef)
3. arrow down to options .. set MTF to Stereo,
set speaker to off and audio out to variable.

4. push menu to exit
Go to the DVD playerand set up the sound system.

Easy , HUH ??? LOL, lots of luck !!

Best Regards, Clyde
