I want to add a Tank Level Monitor in my sewer compartment, but I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars.

Does anyone know if it is possible to "Tap Off" of the existing sensors and make my own monitor, in a sense, with small LED's.
Maybe use a small PC Board to attach the LED's to then wire it to the existing sensors.

Give me your thoughts and ideas.

I have been told the monitor board in my sewer compartment would cost me only $30 to replace. It shows three tank levels with led's, and lights up when you press a rocker switch. That would certainly be easier than creating your own ...course I don't know if it would work off your existing sensors...

I would think that if you got an exact replacement monitor and installed it to the existing sensors it would give you the reading you want as long as both monitors were not activated at the same time. If however there is an inaccuracy some diodes could be installed to isolate one monitor from the other.
