Thanks in General

I just want to say thanks to everyone who makes the time to post answers to the many questions we RV's ask.

Many a times I have had a problem and found the answer on IRV2.

After spending the last two hours trying to locate the original post, I just want to say THANKS to whoever on/or about 10/20/2014 post an answer to a question on a Pace Arrow about a water pump. The response about the water tank fill value in fill or use position solved my problem and save me the price of a new pump(which would not have solved the problem)...

777Rich, to save you time, when you are looking for a post you started or posted to, just go to the "search" tab, click on it, you can then enter a keyword(s) that you used such as "water pump" ect and then click on the respective tab for "threads you posted in" or however it is worded and all the threads that you posted to with those keywords will come up and you can find what you are looking for.

I too would like to add my thanks to all--I have learned a great deal here. I am very close to making my first purchase, came close already but couldn't come together. I also learned a lot from the books and on line guide I got from RV.org
I went to an RV who in Charlotte Co FL today and was able to look at units with a more focused eye due to all the help and knowledge I've gained. I was in some very nice looking new or 1 year old used class A's (that is what I am shopping for) and I was better prepared to look closer at details and not let the newness and glitter blind me. For example, in the showers, they looked good and brand new but the 1 piece wrap around shower stall had gabs in the corners behind the shower wall and the RV structure I could fit my finger in. Being 6 foot 3 I could just see all the water splashing off my head and shoulder onto the wall above this gap and just running down the wall seeking out the floor below--a major disaster in the future.
You can never have too much knowledge. So thanks again everyone!

Yep, there are some people on this forum that go above and beyond. Saved my butt more than once. I try to reciprocate any time I can but my knowledge level leaves a lot to be desired.

Another thanks to IRV2.

Everyone is at a different stage in their RV knowledge and use. I bought my first in 1977, but read here every day and have found good information while occasionally offering something I hope is useful.

Of course, there is also the entertainment value of some people beating their chests trying to convince others that their choice is the only choice. I have my own opinions, but try not to get into these since that would put me in one of the aforementioned groups (but, sometimes, it's really hard to resist adding to the fire...).
