Thedford Aqua Magic Style Plus Toilet

We have a Thedford Aqua Majic Style Plus toilet in our motorhome. I have replaced the water valve 6 times. Only once due to a freeze problem. The valve just seems to start leaking when it wants to. It is starting to get expensive. I spend between $30 - $50 each time I replace this valve not including my time to install it.

We really like this toilet, but I'm thinking it should be replaced with a more reliable ceramic bowl toilet. Does anybody have any recommendations for me?

Could it be crossed threads of pipe connections and have you tried some Teflon tape on threads.
Here is info on Sealand toilets.
These have been very reliable in my Newmars with very few problems.

mine developed a slow 1/2 gph stream into toilet, last trip we had to keep water turned off most of the time. It filled up bowl in about two hours. Our toilet is one year old.

The problem is not at the conections, it is in the valve itself.
