Thought I would 'Down-Size' Bad Idea.........

Shortly after I married my second wife, I bought a '72 Eagle Bus Conversion, with a great running Detroit Diesel 8V-72 in it. After I put the Harley Rack on the Front, and the second on the Rear, took the 8V-72 out and put in a 8V-92, hooked up to the Allison A/T, it was not only a beautiful rig of 46', it had Brute Strength, and was Fast as all Get-Out.
Well, the 6 MPG at 75 mph kinda 'got to me', so in '08 I let my sweet wife talk me into selling it and go back to 'Tent Camping',....... Bad Idea!
Well, we had everything we needed but after getting 6 MPG in the Eagle, I wanted to Git some Mileage........, so I bought a Prius.
My wife loaded it (pictures attached) with everything we could possibly need for a months vacation to Yellowstone.
Needless to say, my ole bones can't take 'Tenting', even on a 'Blow up' King Size Bed, so it didn't take long to get back in a RV, this time a Class C, getting 8 MPG. I previewed this and didn't see any of my pictures, but they are comical the way she packed that Prius, and still had room for our Pup.

I have a Prius and I give you kuddos for packing; because that is a LOT for a Prius!

Condolences on downsizing.

Rule #1: Unless you have at least a 40 foot Class A, never let the woman pack!

To a Man, a House is just a house.

To a Woman, it's a HOME.

If I had to tent again, I wouldn't do it and I couldn't even suggest it to my wife!

I can't help you with your downsize to a prius but I can help you beat that air mattress. After sleeping on the ground for 15 nights along the river the bottom of the Grand Canyon, I said there has to be a better way. There is.

Do you bring the trees for those hammocks with you when you travel?

You supply the trees. Once you do those hammocks are a lot better to sleep in than any bed I ever saw except maybe my old waterbed.
