Thanks I will check on that. Myrtle beach is one of our first stops. I do not think our CW installs tires.

I have chosen to go with Michelin XZE's and will have them installed at Les Schwabs in Missoula next week. Thanks for all the help!

Well, here we go again! I went down to Les Schwabs to look at the tires. On the phone they reassured me they would be 07 tires. My visual inspection discovered they are 2005 manufactured tires. They said they are still new tires but I told them I didn't want to pay for 2 year old tires. They told me they couldn't order date specific tires??? I told them I will keep looking.......the saga continues.

Just had Toyo tires installed (M120Z 255R70 22.5 H16) Fantastic ride and handling. $2051 out the door. New tire DOT 10th week 2007.
Replaced the 235 Michelins 7 years old with no signs of aging. After Texas trip was afraid my luck would run out. If the Toyo tires last as long as the Michelins, I will be very happy.

We are headed for Glacier Natl Park for a week and then west to ID, OR, and WA. Would anybody have a good idea on where to start looking? I've give up on Montana.

Thanks for all the help! Jim

I got'em! Michelin XZE's installed in Whitefish at Les Schwabs. WOW what a difference! The ride smoother, quieter and handle better. This tire shop has nothing but professional people working for them. What a great installation and balancing job. If you're ever near Whitefish and need tires, se BJ at Les Schwab, and you can tell him I sent ya!

Happy Trails, Jim
