Tire Blowout...

We had our first tire blowout this weekend (inside rear) in our MH. After replacing the tire with the spare and praying for our safe return home, I started searching for new tires all around. Found that the Goodyear G159 were recalled - we were told that the H Series is the best for MHs because of the weight - but like anything else - a zillion different tires to choose from. Any suggestions/thoughts? Thanks!

It sounds like you have 19.5s. There are alot of choices. I personally do not like Michlins because of their cracking issues. I have had Dynatrac (China)tires on my first Moterhome and I loved them and they were inexpensive and contrary to what people will tell you about Chinese tires, these were great. No matter what you get, make sure that they are commonly available so that if you need to replace just one they are available around the country. Make sure you get one that is rated to carry the load and keed the pressure to the high side. Don't match the tire rating that was on the tires that you have now go by the weight of your loaded MH, they might of had the wrong tires on there.
