Time to understand this complex issue. As part of the research I always check with my friends at IRV2.

Stock tires on my rig are Michelin 255/80R 22.5 XRV

It would appear the Bridgstone 10R22.5 BF6 is a good, not exact, match at a better price point.

Have downloaded specs from websites, etc. and if any of you have advice or experience you would like to share, I thank you in advance for your input.

From what I am told, the tire you sourced is close to a match. The 9R size is susposed to be the same diameter as the Michelin that came stock on your rig (and mine). The difference in the two would probably be that the Michelin is designed for RV use, and the Bridgestone is designed to be a truck tire. The difference would probably be the ride between the two. The Bridgstone would probably ride a litte stiffer than the Michelin, but it may as a result, wear longer. The 9R was also not quite as wide as the 255 X80. As for the ride stiffness, that would be up to you to decide how important that is to you for the money.
