Tires for 2010 Silverado LT 4x4 extended cab

Am in need of tires or pickup. Live in NW IL. Do not tow the truck and don`t

use much. Truck has Good Year Eagle LS2 275/55 r20. Am considering:

Goodyear Wrangler SR-A

Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza

Any comments on these tires (on sale) or others would be appreciated.

Thanks

I'd suggest going onto a website such as https://www.goodyear.com/ and finding a deal. Then go to the dealership and mention the deal you found. Most of the time they will give you the same price or at least a discount. Plus, they sometimes offer incentives for your next maintenance bookings. Enjoy!

I put Goodyear Wranglers on my old Suburban last year. I had been using it to clear the property I built a house on, it had Coopers on it and they did not hold up, blew one out after driving over a tree limb. The Goodyear Wrangler seemed like a good option for the price and have performed well.

Last week I put a set on my Jeep Grand Cherokee, again good option for the price. They were $150 each out the door with road hazard and lifetime rotation and balance from Walmart. Michelin would have been ~$90 each more.

I bought them at Walmart because I do tow the Jeep and need to have ability to take anywhere we travel if we have any problem with them.

It is impossible to recommend a tire unless we know your intended tire size and probable use. Some might recommend a very good tire for highway driving when you want a tire for mud N snow or off-roading, which would not be a suitable match.
