To the shop - shower leaks and GFI always trips

Well - as painful as this will be for me, its time to schedule my first service appointment. Just got back from second short trip and now have issues that will require me to make the trek(110 miles) to the other side of Houston to drop off for service.

The shower leaks somewhere around the lower edge where the sides meet the lower section of the shower floor. I tried fixing this weekend and even put some of that calk tape down...to no avail. Was hoping to make the weekend without soaking every towel I owned. Wasn't the case unfortunately.

Secondly was the GFI plug in the bathroom won't set. I have at least 3 other plugs in addition on this circuit. There is nothing plugged in at this time. I went ahead and replaced the GFI plug today when I got home. I thought this resolved it but later in the day I had noticed it tripped and won't reset - just like the other one did. I am thinking it is in one of the other plugs somewhere.

Since I have 2 things on my list, it is now time for some warranty work. Unfortunately it will cost me a 1/2 day of vacation to make the drive plus my DW to follow in chase vehicle. Seems she never gets to ride in the new motorhome.

Just a quick update and will let you guys know what the verdict is later.

Seems like there are always a few items to be repaired on new RVs. Hope they get it all fixed up for you.

I'm sure you'll be fine, it's a small list. Many have had major issues on their lists. Sorry to see you loose half a vacation day though. Good luck and enjoy the new coach, it'll be great times ahead.
