Has anyone had recent experience or knowledge of how much discounting dealers are doing on purchasing new autos to pull behind your motorhome?

I have looked at Ford Escape and naturally want to negotiate a fair price, but finding out what is "fair" seems to be the 64 dollar question. Years ago 20-24% was the norm but can't find any guides out there this time around.

Thanks for suggestions and your time.

Try Edmunds.com you can punch in the car your looking at with options. They will give you MSRP and Invoice numbers. They will also give you an average what others are paying for that optioned vehicle. Most of the time the price will be closer to the Invoice number than the MSRP. But every vehicle is different.

When I purchased my HHR in November, I got a 3500 rebate plus 1000 discount.

If a dealer will not sell you a tow car for $100.00 over invoice today, he is not a serious dealer.
