Toilet bowl cleaner

Our DSDP has a Traveler brand ceramic toilet bowl. There are some hard water stains around where the water has stood and stained the porcelain. What is the best cleaner to use without harming the seals or the holding tank?

My recommendation would be "Soft Scrub". No chemicals and it will do the job easily. Available in any grocery store.

TileX works great on cleaning. I have used the Mr. Clean soft scrubs and can't say much good about them. Telex at the Dollar store is cheap and I use it on everything in the bath and the kitchen sinks with great results...Happy Trails..

I use CLR or Lime Away. You use it quickly so there's no need to leave anything in there that might harm any seals. You will find that you have calcium build up in your faucet sprayers, shower head and anywhere else water exists and this is a great clean up tool.

"Soft Scrub" I am using comes in a plastic bottle, with a squirt cap. Last forever. Never tried the Mr Clean sponges for anything but awning cleaning and they are just great for that. No fuss and no dripping chemicals or water.

Same here.

Also last fall we got a Mark8000 water softener that is pretty well eliminating any deposits anywhere in the system.
It is regenerated with a regular box of table salt. How often is a function of the water hardness level. In Bouse AZ it needs regenerating about every 10 days. Here in Palisade CO about once a month.
