Looks like the blunt corner of a large boat (or something with a high ledge on it). Somebody cutting a sharp corner or backing up near your MH misjudged a bit, I'd say. Man, that is a BIG bummer. Hope you can get that fixed pretty quickly. \ken

I found a nice looking 5-wheeler with a new patch made of black duck tape. Has temp plates. They should wash it, helps the tape stick better. Same distance from the ground as my impact site. Turned it over to my insurance. The place where I store it has video cameras. I wonder if I could get a copy and post it? Here a throught if you hit something and park near by and have temp license plates put a piece of tape over your vin, if you are not planning on doing the right thing.

Sounds like might be a case of hit and run. Call the police and file a report. They should then be able to get the tapes from your lot.

X 2. They'll get the videos from the storage place and nab the culprit is my guess.

Yea I called the police. It looks like fiberglass, different color then my RV. I don't know how it got behind the nut. I left it in place for the insurance guy to take a look at.

Hope you get it taken care of and get it back to the original condition. I would definately request to either get the video tape or have them let you view the recordings if you can lock it down to a reasonable time frame. The sooner you request it the more likely they will have it as they don't necessarily have to save it. Good luck and I hope you catch the guy who did it, that is just wrong and inconsiderate, as well as Illegal if you can prove they knew they did it.

Update : The guy who collided with my RV told the RV storage place and they called me. So a big THANK YOU goes to MR. S... for doing the right thing.

Now can anybody recommend a RV repair place in colorado springs? Thanks.
