I have a 34 ft fourwinds class A and I do not understand what Tow Haul means. Do I use it when I tow or is it another gear?
I do not notice no chang to the rpm when I put it on or take it off.

I leave it in tow/haul most of the time. You will notice that, when engaged ,your tranny will downshift as you slow useing the engine to help with the braking. It comes in handy on the offramps while towing my jeep.Only problem I have encountered was the toads brakes(evenbrake) gets confused with the fast decelluration.

Tow-Haul locks a transmission out of overdrive. If you are moving on flat land and the transmission is not downshifting and then upshifting (hunting) then you do not need tow-haul to be engaged (which disengages the OD gear).

If you are traveling downhill and need a bit of engine braking, then engage tow haul mode. If you need more braking, downshift.

Leaving your tranny in TH mode all the time when not needed will lower the mileage.
