I'M LOOKING TO BUY A TPMS. THE TWO I'VE LOOKED AT ARE THE DORAN 360 AND THE HAWKSHEAD. I LIKE THE IDEA OF BEING ABLE TO REPLACE JUST THE BATTRIES IN THE HAWKSHEAD BUT HAVEN'T HEARD TO MUCH ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

A "search" of this site (or Google) for "TPMS" should give several hours of reading.
We've had the Hawkshead for over 2 years - one small problem that company took care of. Changed all 10 batteries last week ($11.) which took less than 30 min.

I have the Hawkshead and am happy with it. The batts are replaceable in the wheel sensors but not in the main unit. They say the batt in the main unit should last 10 years.

I have the Doran TPMS 10 Wheel and will not move my coach without it being on.

I also will not leave home without it, the coach is R HOME. I can move it from the coach to the Toad, just plug it into the 12 volt DC socket.

I have the TireTraker, which I understand is the Hawkshead under another name. It works great. Sensors are smaller and lighter than another brand I had earlier that I had significant problems with. I carry the monitor in the toad when the MH is parked ...about like a small cell phone.
