I was wondering if anyone would know where the plug/harness is for the electric brake on a Ford chassis. I 've read that it is located some where under the dash taped up.

alwys33, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us. We look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. You will find we are a group of fun loving RVers that like to healp each other where we can. What year is the chassis? Is there a 7 wire connector in the rear? Who is the coach builder? I am going to put in a short cut to the New Member introduction section. Give us a little more info and we will try to help.

There is a 7 wire connecter already wired up at the rear. I traced the harness all the way to the front of the engine compartment but then lost the wire because the plastic conduit is taped very well. I have read that the plug that ford has is taped under the dash in differnt locations. Once that plug connector is found you have to go to ford and pruchase a short harness that you ca wire up to the electric brake controler.

The motorhome is a Forest river Georgetown 34' on a ford motorhome chassis with a v-10 2007.

Thanks for the welcome great site i have been doing a lot of reading.

There's a Ford Chassis forum located down in the Chassis section of forums. There's lots of 'good stuff' in there and you just might find the answer to your question.
