I wonder if we could see a picture of the new color monitor? I would think with a release in a week there would be some info available. While I like color, some color screens leave a lot to be desired.

The release will not be until early 1st quarter of 2016. I will be posting pics once I have them.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Pictures would be something I would need before I order, or ask anyone else to. Hopefully before Christmas, if I like it I might find one under the tree.

Over a three day travel period each way, tire pressure was checked/reset each morning prior to starting the days travel. The one thing I noted on a consistent basis is that the sensors displayed a good bit of non-linearity. After my most recent trip from Michigan back here to Florida I found one sensor that was consistently four (4) to six (6) PSI lower than the other five (5) sensors, even when moved to a different wheel. The five sensors that closely parallel each other were typically within one (1) or two (2) PSI of each other and were always 2 PSI lower than the initial pressures set each morning with an AccuGage analog inflator that compared exactly against an Accutire digital gauge.

I wonder if my experience is at all typical to that of others who are using the TST 507 System.

Also, I would like to recommend to TST that they might consider moving to a backlit monitor display instead of the current front lit display to improve on daylight readability. I find it almost impossible to read the display at even armís length unless the screen is bathed in bright sunlight. Having an easy to read display is very important when you are driving and trying to keep your eyes on the road as well.
I installed the 507 feed thru unit on my RV and had nothing but issues. 2 Failures and the second one was in a rain storm. I was praising the unit for making me aware of the potential issue only to find that it was the sensor itself that was creating the problem. In the trash went that system!!!!

Hopefully the DW will, with the order. I make a list of a few items, and usually get one of them. I do like to see what I am going to list, if I can't see it no use in putting it on the list, especially if I just plain don't like it. I am surprised anyone would pre-order something without being able to see what they are pre-ordering.

Of course pictures will be released prior to the new monitor coming out. I should have them up next week.

Thanks,
Mike Benson

It has been a few weeks, I thought I would see if the pictures of the new color monitor are available. I know you were shooting for Dec 1st.

Thank you

I have the 507 now for a year. The problem with the sensors, if you have stem extension they will not read right. Sometimes if the value pin is to tight or loose it will not read at all or incorrect. I have received more false alarms from the sensors then I care to think about. But the alarms did make me check.

I now have 4 sensors that I do not use. I have never put the sensors on my tow vehicle yet, not sure why.

I do have the flow through type and I take them off when I check my pressure and add air, just works better for me that way. I would not buy the flow through type again.

I agree it is a great product with good CS, just frustrating when I can not get all the sensors to work.

Hello Sir,
Wheelmaster makes extensions that work very well with TPMS Sensors. Please call me when you get a chance at 770-889-9102 and I can recommend the extensions that will work for you.
Thanks,
Mike Benson

I struggled with my wheel extensions for 2 years before I bought the wheel masters from Mike. It's a cheap investment and work as advertised. No more false signals and I can now add air thru the 507 flow thru.

I jus' purchased a 507 flo-thru system. Installation and test tomorrow...trip next week. We're excited. We've experienced too many blowouts w/o warning.

I have had my 507 flow through system for about a year now. It has a consistent 2 psi difference compared to my hand pressure gauge which doesn't bother me because it is always consistent. I think they make a great product! It still is amazing to me how the tires react to different temperatures, road conditions etc.
