TST 507 TPMS with high PSI numbers

Yesterday, when I pulled into a an RV Park, my TPMS alarm went off and displayed high (400-500) PSI numbers on several tires. After a quick call to TST, all was good. The tech explained that I was probably near another TST customer that had a newer repeater that was being picked up by my monitor. The newer repeater used different firmware that didn’t translate to my monitor. Once I left today everything was back to normal! 👍

Hummm, seems like this shouldn't happen in todays world.

If you bought your system after 2015 it won’t. Mine is an older system.

We had the same thing happen this summer. Call TST and they will exchange your head unit. For $10 we even upgraded to their wider screen.

Really? Cool! It’s never happened before but if it gets too frequent, I may look into this!

It will just get worse as more and more folks get the newer units. Suggest you replace the head unit now. TST offered this option to us right away when we called. Said it was their fault.

You’re probably right! Thanks for the tip

Had the same thing happen last year a couple times, and again just a couple weeks ago. When I called TST they said it was radio interference. No mention of others having any problem, no admission of it being anyone's fault, just said "That happens sometimes". End of conversation.

I'll give them another call in the next week when we get back home. It seems we've now developed a problem where the display goes blank from time to time. The display will come back if you wiggle the power wire. I'm not sure if the power wire is failing or it's the connector in the head unit.

I have the same issue-- I'll be driving, the display beeps and goes blank, but I can see the blinking by the tires as it progresses but no PSI or temp display. If I do nothing, it will continue to beep at 1 minute intervals, but the display with the psi and temps never shows. If I unplug it and replug it, it will go thru the start up process and work normally. Then it may work fine for a day or week or maybe just a few minutes and starts over again. I called TST and they had no advise as to what to do.
