I turned the water off at the park connection for him. Neither he nor the lady ever thanked us or said 'go to he77' or anything. Hope it was not flooding inside the coach but at least he could have acknowledged we helped.

I wonder if he even knew anyone turned the water off? You mention he wasn't there at the time.
Anyway, if he knew you shut it off, I'm sure he was grateful for your meeting the minimum requirements for being a good neighbor.
