Our old coach had a built in coffee maker above the table. It was convenient and had a strap to keep the pot in place while traveling.

Our new coach does not. Now we are looking for a great undercounter coffee maker that has a low profile. It only needs to be 4 cups if necessary as I don't drink coffee.

Any help and experience is greatly appreciated.

Try Black & Decker site. You can find one there. If there is no strap we used a bungee cord and put around the coffee maker and put it thru the coffee pot handle. That way nothing slid.

I know its not an undercabinet , but we bought a Tassimo pod system coffee maker and I am sold. They sell 30 differant types of coffee and tea. . My last was B&D and it was awsome, but no place to put in my MH. We bought 2 B&D's at the factory outlet stores.

We too had in our old coach the under counter coffee maker, and loved it. New one did not. So we installed a Black & Decker under counter coffee maker. They're about $50, available even at Wally World (not to mention Camping World).

Black and Decker makes them with a plain glass or a stainless steel thermal carafe. The one at Camping World was the 12 Cup Glass Carafe model the last time I looked. I lost a 10 cup Black and Decker and recently had to replace it due to the new style mount not locking solidly like the older models and letting to whole unit come flying out of the bracket while on the highway.

They have modified the thermal models starting with the 8 cup which has a lower profile than the 10 or 12 and a carafe that pours better. There are still some of the 10 and 12 cups models that are engineered to drip 1/3 to 1/2 the coffee onto the counter or your lap so you would be better off looking for the newer style 8 cup.

When mounting the second pot I did it myself this time and bolted the bracket through the shelf over the dinnette. I strapped the coffee maker to the mounting bracket and mounted another strap on the coffee maker to keep the pot in place so it stays in place for storage.

I used the white platic straps that are sold for securing TV/DVD players etc and used the screw mounting method of attachment along with the tape. On the thermal carafe model without a hot plate I did not see any evidence of electronics where I had the strap anchors so I was pretty comfortable with putting a few short screws there. With the way things change I would verify this on any newer models before doing the same again.

Over all I am happy with the results just be wary that the one I have is fussy about the leveling of the coach and will drip water from the front edges of the filter basket if it is leaning even slightly foward.

I got it from: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/produ...uct_id=4891350
