Unrepairable. Damn
Power Gear leg is not repairable.
I ordered one from American RV for $610.
This happened due to a side load from a very out of level site. I am hoping the other front one is ok.
I think I will weld a seat on the ram to make a firepit seat.

That's going to be a very heavy seat!
and that is quite a large side load to cause that amount of damage.

I've seen rods, that bad, repaired.
You could find a hydraulic shop to rebuild it.

That could be buffed out and still work fine.
Takes a lot of time and skill but if the seals have room it can be done.
Concern is something allowed the ram to gouge so the cylinder design is questionable.
The packing usually has something very hard that prevents the ram from touching the wall so ask the manufacturer why.

to re-chrome a shaft like that you have to grind the surface damage off the shaft and re-chrome it and than grind it to size... not an economical way to do it... however a good hydraulic shop should be able to pull a piece of chrome shaft off the shelf and make a new one for you and re-seal the housing...

The internals at the top of the inside of the ram may have come apart and allowed side travel. This is about four examples of it now I suspect.
