Upgrading from Magnum ME-2000 MSW inverter to Magnum ME-2800 PSW inverter.
What all must be done in addition to swapping out the inverters? Is coach wiring affected? Must the remote control be upgraded also?
My coach is a 2007 Monaco Knight DFT diesel pusher.

1, Just wondering why you're changing them and,
2. No, you shouldn't have to change any wiring, remotes or anything else unless Magnum itself has certain prerequisits for the new one you're changing to.
I don't know which model of remote you have but, if it's the ME-RC or, ME-RC50 you're good to go. I changed from a Dimensions 2000 to a Magnum ME2012 a couple of years ago and, it was an easy change-out. I did have to install a new remote and 4-wire phone cable but, not all that bad to do, at least on our coach.

I did that exact same thing a few weeks ago. Only because the 2000 was not charging right and was 8 year old so decided to replace and upgrade. I also install a new remote.
Best price I found was IMarine online
Magnum Energy MS2812 2800 Watt 12V 125A Pure Sine Wave Inverter/Charger $1,404.68
1 Magnum Energy ME-AGS-N Automatic Generator Start Controller Network Version $198.17

Check load or supply requirements to be sure supply wiring SYSTEM is capable.
Wires, batteries, fuses and other components need to be suitable for now unit.

Loops, I see u did replace the remote control. Did that install require u to run new wires or did it swap out wire for wire with your old remote?

sorry I have not been here in a couple of days.
You should have not problem using the same cable. It's just a 6 pin phone cable.
I had to run a new cable as I relocated the remote. Back to the bedroom next to my solar controller.
