Valve ext. causing out of balance?

I was looking into valve extentions for my MH and had a guy tell me that they cause the wheels to go out of balance. Any one heard of this?

Not too likely. They weigh almost nothing and RV wheels/tires are pretty heavy, so they cannot affect balance very much. I've been active on RV websites for years, this one and others, and have never heard any complaint concerning this.

And I have added Pressure Pro sensors to the ends of my valve extensions and still see no balance problem.

Simple answer is, yes they will cause the tire to be out of balance. But will you feel it, not likely. On a car you might, but not in the motorhome. Will there be any long term problems, most likely no. But out of balance is out of balance. I suggest using the balancing powders or beads in the tires. I suggest using enough of the powder or beads to correct up to 8 or 10 oz. of out of balance. If you are not familiar with the powders or beads, type balancing beads in any search engine and I'm sure you will get several hits. Talk to your tire dealer they can tell you about the powders and beads. Both can be installed without removing the tires. Many large commercial fleets use these in the truck tires.
