I have heard that persons with Vanity Plates are Audited more by the IRS? Is this true?

I've never heard of anything like that and most of the audits we see are just random or based on something odd in the tax return being filed.

Back on the thread, we saw a half million dollar rig in SC with Ontario plates that said RUFFN IT.

Being a Jag fan I can appreciate that one. But don't they say "Jag U Ah" Never hear them say the R.

The Brits talk funny though. In GB Carburetor is pronounced "Car Bretter" rather that "Car Bor Ater"

They also have a fetish for naming parts of the car after clothing items. Boot=Trunk, Bonnet=Hood etc.

They also drive on the wrong bloody side of the road.

Sorry, off topic.

When I purchased my motorhome, my insurance salesman asked me what licence plate I wanted as he had several available.

I chose 787 GEB, my 787 Dreamliner with GE engines from Boeing.

P.S. I have a Triple E Commander 3505GS

Some of these license plates listed in this thread have a lot of characters.

I wonder what states allow that many characters on their plates?

I have lived in New York and they allowed 7.
I have lived in California and they allowed 7.
I am now registered in Alaska and they only allow 6.

Some of these are like 8, 9 or 10.

Ours MH says "EXPLORNG", the toad has a Appalachian Trail license where money goes to support our favorite place to hike.
