Where can I get a deal on a passenger side velvac mirror? Yes I have the Velvac website but is there other places to look at? I hate it when Telephone poles leep out at ya :(

Gee and I thought I was alone--------------

Great big trucks with great big wide stainless mirrors should park closer to the curb on crowded busy two lane streets---don cha think???

Glad I have company! Coming back from Eastern Wa and 10 minutes from base camp in Orange County, Ca. Driving down one of the "wonderful" So Cal freeways. A truck on the inside lane crossed the zipper and our mirrors hit. Knocked the head off the arm. Fortunately we were able to get over in the right hand land (blind) and make it back to where I keep the RV.

It looks like there is a piece of pot metal or PVC pipe that the wires run through that connect the arm to the mirror head. Does anyone know if that is a replaceable part, or do you have to buy the entire mirror head?

Thanks

Rick

I think mine came as one unit-----but check with Velvac or maybe a salvage yard would have what you need.

Good luck----being side swiped by a truck sounds awful-----maybe my wife is saying "you are too close over here----dear" for a reason. Of course on a Socal fwy there is no room on my side either---now is there.
