Wall slide looks to be bowed
Running the slide in today I noticed it is rubbing hard right behind the drivers seat top.
It actually pops when it comes in. It pulled the running rubber trim out of the top also
The back is sitting really high and against the top of the opening
A will the readjust while driving
And can I drive like this.
I have run the slide in and out 3 times with the same result

In looking at it it looks like the back part of the slide is up about 1 inch, I checked the gears and they are all hitting the holes so it is not raised there, but it is up about 1 inch in the back, causing the issue up front. It will not fix by running it in and out

I'd be looking at the rollers under the slide, especially the under the front end. That would drop the front down and the offset of that movement could raise the back end up.

Seems to have resettled during the last leg of the trip. Talked to Newmar and they will walk me though resetting the points on the slide. They feel it may just need that.
However spaces look good now

The vinyl cover for the aluminum screw strip (hanging in picture) is of no concern, but have you LUBED the rubber slide wiper gaskets with slide silicone SPRAY LUBE? THIS is what keeps the WATER out. If you have concern over the screw strip, you can clear silicone the screw heads. The rubber gasket itself can cause a bind, and/ or noises as it moves past center, and if binding, can be torn or ripped off. Spray can greatly help.
