I've been trying to figure out how to hook up my sewer hose to our new MH without having to go under the MH and thru the hole to hook-up my hose. We have a MH with 1 and 1/2 baths and when they put the PVC out from the tanks, its to low to hook-up and leave hooked up. I have to unhook and hook-up every time. On our previous MH with one bath, I just left the hose hooked up and pulled it thru the hole at the camp site and thru the door at the dump station. We are generally pleased with our MH, except this matter. I though about using one of those grinders-up that hoke to a hose, but perfer not to. I tried a 30, 45 and 90 deg. ell, but it was to big. Any suggestions? s/Toby

on my coach I generally shove the hose through the hole in the floor and then connect. However, when I am home in my driveway there's a slight pitch upward to my sewer connection at the garage so that make it tough to drain unless I raise the front jacks. In that case I go right out the open hatch door rather than through the floor. The drain tee that's between the two dump valves pivots on mine so that I can twist it to go out the side, which gives me more height and I don't have to add any elbows or other fittings. I'm thinking that all of these dump setups are made by Valtera and are of the same design so grab hold of the drain tee and see if you can twist it like I do.

Tnx for the reply Cruzer.
My problem is that it is a "y" rather than an ell because I have two heads. Consequently, it does not move and its to low to connect except up thru the hole. I guess I'm going to have to cut out a bigger hole and lower the existing hole and cap so that it will drop down about 2". My storage compartments are made of plastic, so I guess it shoudn't be to hard. I just hate to cut on the new MH. Can't get the current wife (of 36 years and only one) to handle the dump stuff. If I could, I would just let her get the "stuff" on her hands and not worry. It was her idea to get a new MH, I liked the old one just fine. s/Toby
