Water Damage

When looking at a used (1980's) rig, should any water damage be considered a no buy?
Or is that something all older rigs will have to some degree?
Going today to look at one - said water leaked in the cabinets, had roof resealed.
So many issues to look at with a used MH, it's more than a bit overwhelming! Any
advice is appreciated.

We bought our 82 Pace Arrow from a private party that belonged to our car club,so this might not help but we trusted him because we also bought a 64 caddie a month before from him. there has been no surprises along the way. So far I can only find one leak and that is at the windshield or a clearance light, easy fix. We used the oven last night I bet its the first time ever used too. worked perfect. the shower has never been used either but have not tried that yet because its used as storage space for now, but I really want to use it.
Take your time sit in it for a while and see if things are where you want them. I wish we had a bedroom instead we have a fold out couch. Its gets to be a pain putting it back daily but that's okay our next one will have a bedroom. Otherwise we love it and get a lot of complements everywhere we go.Its all original.
Watch out for outdated tires.
You can tell alot by the condition its in if its a wreck run fast.
Good luck and keep us posted and when you find one take pictures we all like pictures. Heres ours.

So there are good ones out there ( both sellers & rigs )? So many horror stories online, I'd like to learn from others mistakes before I make my own!
I'm super excited to get my first rig. Colorado winters have been brutal on me the last few years, I'm ready to spend them somewhere else.
Looking for a 24' Class C, rear bed & bath - around 10K - or 15K for The One. Thanks for your post - I love looking at the pictures as well.

He may have sealed the roof BUT did he repair any dry rot that may be there. Check the area and if soft or mushy run.
