Water Lines in Wet Bay Compartment
Leaving for the Florida Keys tomorrow morning (Sunday)
Temp. here was -6 overnight but warming up a little today but here another cold blast on the way Tuesday.
My question is how is the best way to keep the wet bay water lines from freezing while traveling down the road ?

Hello, When your furnace runs does it blow heat into the basement area? if so keep the heat turned up!

If you cannot get heat in there, I suggest the only other option is to remove the water and blow the pipes or put antifreeze in until you get to a warmer place. It won't take long to freeze being exposed to -6F.
If you have or can put power in the bay, then it might be possible to put a heat source in there.
Good luck.

If they aren't frozen now drain them and add RV antifreeze.

Don't dewinterize until you hit Georgia.

The best way is not to have water in them. Carry water in conatiners until you are out of the freeze zone.

Make that Tampa. Here in mid-Florida we are expecting temps into the 20s on Tuesday and Wednesday AM.

I had the heat on in MH last night and it was -6, the temp in the wet bay was 30" this morning so there must be a heat duct into the wet bay. I have a 110V socket in wet bay so put a 100W drop light in there just in case.
I do have a temp. sensor in bay so it can be monitored.
Thanks for the input.....

Enjoy your time in the Keys...you'll be having cold weather till you get to south FL. In Tampa, they are predicting in the low 30's Tuesday a.m.
