water pump always running

when i turn it on it primes fine but stays running even after pressure has built. it has a small clear filter inline that has a air bubble in it and when turned on end it empties like here is a leak somewhere and the pump keeps running. i did find 1 small leak at the hot water tank and repaired it and cant find anything else thats wet, and have no water dripping underneath, that i have found yet.

its on a 94 safari sahara 34'. where you get city water and to fill the tank is a valve, i turn it up and on city water sideways is on pump. there are 2 valves under the sind in r/r that are now closed that when opened drain onto ground, i guess these are for emptying the system.

is there somewhere i can find wiring diagrams and piping diagrams for this thing?

I do not think you need wiring, piping may be hard to come by most MFG's do not give them out. The air bubble in filter screen I would try to remove. The filter should be able to be removed by turning off pump. The screen may have to be cleaned for better suction by pump. Make sure all fill valves are closed and suction valve line, for winterizing, to pump is also.

Two possible reasons
1. If the fill valve is in the fill position, on some units the water will just go in circles to the tank
2. There may be a leak in the check valve in the pump itself.

thanks easy, the valve was still in the fill position, as soon as i closed it the pump shut off, and we have great water pressure now! dont know how long it would have taken me to figure that out.
