I am looking to replace my water pump for a couple of reasons. I currently have the factory installed Shurflo 2.? GPM. I am looking at replacing it with the Aquajet ES 3.7 from RVupgrades. Anyone have any advice? Is this a good replacement? And anything else I should consider when replacing it?

I use and recommend the Shurflo 5.7 microproccessor controled $200 pump. Get the optional filter for the pump. Camping World often has them on sale for less than $200.

Shadow, I would also recommend using about two feet of braided hose, coiled into a single loop at both the intake and output sides of the pump. And use straight, not 90 degree elbow fittings into the pump. This will greatly reduce the pump noise/vibrations.

I searched for a post about the Aquajet ES water pump and found this. I just ordered one on-line. It sounds to me like a good replacement for the money, better pressure and volume while using the same amp draw. It is supposed to be very quiet too.

What experience has anyone had?

Thanx, Tom K.
