Oh the comments that could be made off this topic. Butt, I will keep it clean and shiny.

But truth be told waxing the bowls is a great ideal.

It's been nice knowing you folks.

My exact sentiments too.

That sounds like a great idea. I will use a good quality wax because even though its not outside in the sun it still sees plenty of full moons.

I thought everyone did this.
Clean with soap and water, let dry, wax once a year and never any problems. Install a sink sprayer next to the commode and that's all you ever need. Works on my 1978 Thetford!

I'm feeling sort of left out here . . . we've always just had a toilet.

If I ever get a toilette I'll be sure to wax it.

Okay . . . now checking the Garmin to see how to get to the other side of the tracks.

Yes, good catch. Don't forget to wax your eau de toilette.

I have a dear friend that loves pointing out grammar goodies.

Isn't toilet from toilette (French) I thought it was anyway.

I think both are correct, but toilet is more common.

I'm curious about the Rain-X idea. Does it really work?

I've only used RainX on glass, but I'm sure it will work on any non-porous surface. I would think that wax would put a thicket and longer lasting coat though.
