I want to reposition my Weldex Monitor from an in-the-dash mount to top of the dash for improving visibility while driving. The monitor is difficult to view in the dash. To do this I need a monitor mounting bracket. These brackets are quite common for radios, CB's, etc. I contacted Weldex to no avail. They never answered my e-mail or phone call. Does anybody have other thoughts? Thanks.

Steve,
I'm in the process of doing the same thing. On the bottom of the Weldex monitor there is a 1/4" threaded insert and I will be using the Ram Mount. In my photos there are some pics that show the Ram Mount for a GPS and a 7" LCD touchscreen that I use for another purpose. I am repositioning the touchscreen to another location and the Weldex will take its place. The threaded insert on the Weldex seems a little flimsy so it may need some reinforcement of some sort. On the back of the monitor about half way up and centered by the bottom mount are 2 smaller threaded inserts. I think a little "L" bracket tying the 3 threaded inserts would work.
